The natural brown colour comes from the Pihepe wool itself, so there is no need to dye the yarn to get the colour we love.

50% Pihepe · 25% Merino · 25% Possum

Pihepe gives the hat its natural brown colour and distinctive character. Merino adds softness, and possum helps keep the hat warm while keeping it lightweight.

Caring for your Wyld

Wool doesn't need washing after every wear.
Give your Wyld a good airing between wears and wash it only when it really needs it. This helps keep the fibres in good condition and means your garment lasts longer.

When it's time for a wash:

  • Cool gentle machine wash or hand wash with wool detergent.

  • Wring dry in a towel.

  • Tumble dry on a warm setting. This can help bring it back to size.

No need to fuss. Just don't over-wash it.
